Damai Beach Sarawak's main beach resort area, is located on the Santubong Peninsula is the most popular beach resort in the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. The area has sandy beaches at the foot of an imposing jungle-covered mountain. The resort has a long stretching beach line facing the mighty South China Sea with the infamous Mount Santubong in the background. Damai features three world-class resort hotels: the Holiday Inn Resort Damai Beach, Damai Puri Resort and Spa and Santubong Kuching Resort. Each resort has their own private beach, swimming pool and offers jet skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing, mountain biking, tennis, squash and fitness centres. There is also an Arnold Palmer-designed golf course nearby. Other attractions at Damai include the Damai Sentral, Sarawak Cultural Village and the sleepy fishing villages of Santubong and Buntal with their excellent seafood restaurants. For visitors wanting more adventurous activities, climb through the rainforest to the summit of Mount Santubong. It is a five to six-hour trek and surrounding hotels will usually provide a guide and a packed lunch.

Tour bus
Regular tour buses leave from most of the major hotels in Kuching. Fees are RM 12 p.p. oneway, RM 24 for return. Beware that the schedule found on the Visitor"s Information Centre's map may be outdated. The shuttle from Grand Margherita Hotels leaves for Damai at 9:15, 10:20, 12:20 and 2:20. It returns from Damai to Kuching at 1:15, 3:15 and 5:15.

All of the Resort’s main restaurants are also halal-certified. Besides that, there also has a Medan Food Court which is serve local food that tourists can eat. For example, " Nasi Lemak Pandan ( RM5 ) " , " Rojak Buah Special ( RM5 )" , " ABC Special ( RM3.20 )".
Medan Food Court is one of the food shops here. This shops has a lot of are traders who sell a variety of food which is some western food, snacks, drinks, food, assorted 'roti canai' and more. Apart from having a wide range of food and choice, the price of each food is in the Medan Food Court is also very affordable. Apart from the Medan Food Court, there is also a grocery store and laundary provided.
